Saul Portes founded Horsepower Capital Group after two decades of institutional real estate investment and a decade operating advanced building-systems platforms, with a background spanning private equity and private credit.
His career sits at an unusual intersection — capital-markets discipline paired with hands-on manufacturing and development experience. That perspective informs the firm's core belief: the operators who understand production will define the next generation of real-asset returns.
